====== Onsen ======

In the treacherous Narsmount mountain range, a hot spring has been restored and now operates as a small settlement built around this network of hot springs. Led by Yuki, a kind but eclectic shaman, the organization is open to anyone who longs for rest and relaxation in the dangerous Ohm Basin.

==== Founding ====

The hot springs were originally built by a band of demon hunters. Things were going well until a certain Vanaras entered, and a formerly unnoticed sulphur vent began addling the hunters' mind so that they began summoning the very demons they thought to destroy.

This is when Yuki came across the place, and with the help of two adventuring parties, sealed the vent and repaired the facilities. This did not bring people.

However, a nearby abandoned adamant mine was rediscovered, re-exterminated, and re-opened by another group of adventurers. The subsequent mining town frequented the Onsen, helping elevate it to a full settlement.

==== Notable Characters ====

Charade has retired to the Onsen to hang out in the hot springs, mingle with the travellers, and do tarot readings.

=== Mochi ===

Mochi the Capybara is Yuki's former animal companion. Now Awakened, he hangs out at the Onsen. Other capybaras have shown up from Immotian knows where to join the area..

=== Undead Soldiers ===

Somehow Yuki has obtained a small number of (intelligent) undead zhengese knights. This may have been while she was going through her <del> goth </del> evil phase.

These knights are utterly loyal to Yuki and refer to her as the "Dark Lord." It remains to be seen whether this loyalty will persist should she atone.

==== Onsen Blast ====

With some difficulty, Yuki has invented a spell that shoots a stream of positive-energy-infused water. The Onsen sells wands of this spell to heal allies at range; however, no-one save members of the onsen are allowed to learn the spell proper.

==== The Steamboat ====

Seo-Hyun has seized a Steamboat from an evil, sapient-eating Colonel. It has since been repainted and has returned to being a floating restaurant. Others who aided in defeating the Bazabu (including Evil characters) are allowed to borrow the steamboat regardless of membership in the Onsen.
