The largest known city is Sacramachaca, near (but not on) the South-Eastern coast, where the people worship a giant snake of the same name as a god((Which God, we may never know.))((Perhaps even itself?)). Maltecan people have light to dark brown skin and dark hair. They do not have firearms, nor chain or plate armor, and primarily fight with spears. Malteca has no Paladin tradition to speak of. Barbarians, Druids, and Rangers are all much more common than average. They speak Maltecan, or one of its sister-languages. ==== Notable Characters ==== [[:list_of_player_characters:xiuhcoatl|Xiuhcoatl, χiuhκoatί, ЖiuнcоaтL, נדמסבהעיִא, Serpent, and Crown]], sometimes shortened to 4X + 2, was a monk/spirit shaman orginally hailing from Sacramachaca. Raised in service to the Serpent, he lost his temper and killed a fellow acolyte, forcing him to flee to Barrow's Maw. He is mostly notable for dying on 30.8% of all adventures, including mapping expeditions, he ever went on; and for eventually having three/six voices in one head. He died in the mud facing an undead lieutenant of the Hand. [[:list_of_player:characters:ixchel|Ixchel]] was extremely, extremely and none but Ro can do her justice.
